Blow moulding is a manufacturing process by which hollow plastic parts are formed. The plastic can be manipulated in different ways, e.g. sucked through a closed mould, before it is blown out to the inner walls of the mould, suction blow moulding. Another way is to pre-blow the plastic and shape it by closing the mould around it, the air pressure then pushes the plastic out to match the mould. Once the plastic has cooled and hardened the mould opens up and the part is ejected, conventional blow moulding.
